FILTHY, FILTHY BEAT. I can’t even handle it right now. I want to just put down all the windows in the Audski and blast this all night. “Supermodel” just sounds like a radio hit in the making, with a fantastic hook from singer Amandi and Tayyib Ali’s typically excellent verses completing the triple play. Yes, the sound differs from his past jazz- and R&B-influenced tracks, but the more streamlined and commercial identity suits him quite nicely. It also doesn’t really hurt that the boys spend most of the video cruising in a gorgeous Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster. Hit this up as quickly as you can, friends.

California Love – Tayyib Ali (Video)
Up-and-comer Tayyib Ali drops a video for the second single off of his next mixtape “Keystone State of Mind”. Tayyib let us have a vid for his first single, also called Keystone State of Mind, just a few weeks ago and already has over 100,000 views on Youtube, and I’m sure that this one is going to get up there too. Directed and shot by Jon Kilmer Studios, who has been putting out nothing but quality lately with the new SoLo video, the video makes me want to move the hell out of Pittsburgh to somewhere that’s warm every day. Just kidding, PA is getting too legit to leave right now.

Pretty Little Penthouse – Tayyib Ali (Prod. Brenton Duvall)

Brenton Duvall works his mashup magic once again, this time using Michael Jackson’s “Pretty Young Thing” and Tayyib Ali’s “Penthouse Minutes” off his last mixtape Eighteen. Yes, Michael Jackson. Creative beat with a banging sample from the eighteen year old outta Philly. Duvall always seems to know how to fine polish a track to keep you engaged. Pretty short, but a must download. Expect very big things from these two in ’11.

Eighteen – Tayyib Ali
Download Here(datpiff): Eighteen (Mixtape) – Tayyib Ali
Wow, this was well worth the wait. Tayyib Ali’s long awaited first mixtape “Eighteen” is better than what most artists can pull off for their second and third mixtapes. Tayyibs’ incredible rapping talent paired with the beats of some crazy producers (Jon Kilmer, Hoodfamous, etc) creates one of the best tapes i’ve heard in a while. Don’t sleep on Tayyib, you’ll regret it in a few months when everyone and their mom will know who he is. Eighteen is as close to flawless as a tape can get. Download now, and let me know what you think in the comment section.
The Right Time – Tayyib Ali

I was already hella excited for Tayyib’s mixtape Eighteen set to drop on November 1st, but after hearing this track, i’m literally counting down the days. Tayyib has been consistent with putting out dope work and from what i’ve heard, Eighteen is above and beyond.
