$Free.99 (Mixtape) – Vonnegutt

When I first heard Vonnegutt early last summer, I couldn’t stop playing his songs. The laid-back vocals and chill guitar beats make for perfect summer jams. Vonnegutt is on the frontier of chill rap, and his latest tape $Free.99 proves this. The 15 track masterpiece features the likes of Mat Musto, 2AM Club, Sonny Shotz (of The Dean’s List), Hoodie Allen, and many others. Nevertheless, the mixtape was a success and I encourage you to pick it up at their website.

Remember the 90′s- 90′s Finest [Mixtape]

If you haven’t heard 90′s Finest yet, you are missing out and absolutely need to check them out. They really kill the whole “electro-hiphop” flow they’ve got going. Their new mixtape Remember the 90′s has a little bit of everything, even a track with Collin McLoughlin. There’s some for the die-hard electros and the electro dabblers. Download the complete mixtape here and check out a few of the killer tracks below.

Budget Dreams – B.Sams [Mixtape]

Anyone remember my very first post? Well, it was a video from this guy, rookie B.Sams. The video was for his single Too Cool (also featured on this tape), but after a delay or two he’s decided to drop his debut mixtape Budget Dreams. Just as with Too Cool, the lyrics are great from beginning to end. To be fair, there’s definitely room for improvement. I mean, it’s a rookie-mixtape, it’s expected. But I like where he’s headed, so download the tape here, and make sure you Like and Follow B.Sams too.

Stereo Typical Music – Fuze the MC [Mixtape]

So my boy Ben Kushner tipped me off to this guy the other day, but I didn’t get to listening until today. And to tell you the truth, I expected a lot coming into this tape, seeing as Big Boi dubbed Fuze the “dopest n***a I’ve heard this year.” Yeah. But anyway, Stereo Typical Music lived up to my expectations. Fuze throws some sick rhymes onto some insane beats: the lead track, featured below, starts with a nice piano riff then the beat drops. So download the mixtape here, Like, and Follow.

IanJ – Summer Lights [Mixtape]

This mixtape is the perfect start to your summer. My past weekend was spent at the beach with friends and we had Summer Lights on repeat while laying on the beach and getting ready for the night. What I like about this mixtape is the variety of classic samples used helping the ordinary listener identify with the track. IanJ goes over various genres in Summer Lights so you’re guaranteed to find a track of your liking. Make sure you download the entire mixtape! I promise, you won’t want to miss out on these quality tracks. Like him on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.

Bus Station – Knowmads (Mixtape)

Those guys I posted yesterday, Knowmads? Yeah, my friend told me that they released a new mixtape, Bus Station, a few days ago. Not going to lie to you, I’m a big fan. Beats ranging from very chill to throwback hip hop (including a Juicy cover), Knowmads lay down some great rhymes on every track. Which, oh by the way, there are 24 of. So, these guys have neither a Twitter nor a Facebook fan page, so I’ll just say head on over to their website and download the mixtape there.

Oh, and there’s also a Monster-Kanye West freestyle in there, but I didn’t post it, so be sure to download the tape.
